A house for long summer evenings, good conversations, and the real Patmos.
In the heart of the historic alleys of Chora (UNESCO World Heritage Site) lies this exceptional house, its history reflected in every wall, every courtyard, and every terrace. It is a place where families come together, friends sit for hours at a shared table, and time loses its usual rhythm.
The house sleeps up to nine guests across four bedrooms and has three bathrooms, a generous kitchen and numerous living, dining and outdoor areas. Instead of a single sitting room, the house unfolds in a sequence of terraces, courtyards, lounge areas and retreats, revealing new perspectives again and again.
The impressive living space, with its high ceilings, open fireplace and gallery, is the centrepiece. A room full of light, art and character, which feels both generous and inviting.
The rooftop terrace opens up views over the rooftops of Chora and out to the Aegean Sea. Here, the day begins with the first coffee and ends with a glass of wine at sunset.
The house is located in the heart of the car-free old town of Chora. The last few metres are covered on foot through the narrow alleys – a small transition into another world. Restaurants, cafes, small shops and historical sights are only a few steps away, yet the house offers remarkable peace and privacy.
There is fast Wi-Fi, but no television. This is because this place is designed for things that are often neglected: reading, writing, cooking, conversations, eating together, creative work, and the joy of spending time with one another.
For families, groups of friends, creatives, and anyone who wants to experience authentic Patmos – not as a visitor, but as a temporary resident.
